Description

I was just sorting through some files on my computer and came across this image that I saved from somewhere on the net some time back.  I do not know who the artist was, or which site I got it from.

It looks like the end of an underwater SCUBA battle just like in the James Bond movie Thunderball, but this time with frogwomen.

For me, this captures the moment as the last surviving SPECTRE frogwoman dies a painful gurgling screaming bubbling death impaled on a harpoon fired in to her left breast.  The soft smooth black rubber of her wetsuit was no protection and the hard metal shaft penetrated straight in to her feminine body at high velocity.  Note the look of shock and fear in her masked eyes!  She's already gone even though her right hand is still desperately clutching at the harpoon embedded in her rubber clad chest, and she still holds her own weapon in her left hand.  The last few bubbles of her last breath of compressed air float away from the exhaust valve of her SCUBA regulator.  Her heavy black metal airtank still half full of life-giving air, but now useless to her as its weight starts to drag her corpse down to the seabed to join the lifeless bodies of her dead former comrades in the silty mud.  Look how many of them bought it!?  I count six on the seabed and this last one on the way down.

Also, I love the one at the bottom left with the harpoon embedded in her head through her hood !  What a way to go!

The link to the original artist's page seems to be broken now! Does anyone know where their work went, or if it's even available online any more? I'd love to find some more works like this one!
